What are Rivets?

A rivet is a mechanical fastener that swages into the hole from one side using a mandrel that pulls through the body of the rivet the anvil or ball at the tip swages the body of the rivet into the hole. Most rivets are break stem meaning the snap the mandrel off at the top of the body when the fastener is fully swaged.

Structural, Non-structural (POP®), Sealing, solid, tubular, speed, and semi tubular

Major subtypes

Closed End, Pull-Thru, Wire Draw, Bulbing, Multi-grip, Peel rivets, and dome

Major Industries

Used in all industries, but each industry has rivets specific to their market from tiny rivets for server towers to aerospace approved rivets for that market.
